    REMITTANCE ADVICE IN 16 LANGUAGES
    !!
Here's something you don't see on eBay every day, or even every decade! It would not be all that surprising to find an international money order from the likes of American Express or Thomas Cook but
    not
one from a U.S. National Bank as rare as the Mechanics and Metals NB, let alone as part of a full uncut sheet in choice crisp uncirculated condition!
The giant (8.5" long) handsomely engraved money order alone would be fantastic find, given its Titanic - like ship vignette, but you get a whole lot more. The remittance advice providing detailed instructions to the buyer (attached to the bottom of the money order) is
    printed in 16 languages
including Hungarian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Romanian, Croatian, Russian, Polish, Lithuanian, Italian, German, Finnish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Hebrew!!!  The name of the correspondent bank in each jurisdiction is included - i.e. Vienna Union Bank for some of the Slavic countries and the Russian Asian Bank in Petrograd for others!
Just an amazing amount of international financial history on this 120 year old American National Bank sheet with a large red serial number appearing 4 times.
Otter be 0. Will be otter here soon at .95.  Only a handful of uncirculated intact sheets known (most were damaged!!), thus EXTREMELY RARE.
Another great Historic Treasure from deep within our endless archive of neat old stuff.
